A family of electronic water treatment configurations for industrial pipework. Model and installation selection require an engineering review.
View productReview water-side fouling, pipe layout and maintenance history before selecting an electronic treatment configuration.
Start with deposits and operating conditions.
Record the baseline and compare equivalent operating conditions over an agreed period.
Compare like-for-like operating periods. Load and temperature changes can affect observed performance.
A useful project record includes equipment configuration, operating baseline and the agreed monitoring period.
Practical considerations for this application, its existing treatment and performance review.
Combine deposit inspection, water analysis and maintenance records. Mineral deposits, corrosion products and biological fouling may coexist and require different controls. A pressure-drop change identifies a system change but does not, by itself, identify the material causing it.
Record inlet and outlet temperatures, flow, pressure drop, duty and cleaning history on the relevant circuits. Compare equivalent operating conditions using the site's engineering method. A temperature change without corresponding load and flow information may be misleading.
Keep the established maintenance programme during evaluation. Change cleaning intervals only after reviewing equipment condition and operating records. Preserve pressure limits, process requirements and inspection access; treatment equipment does not replace the exchanger's maintenance instructions.
A useful configuration connects product ratings to the actual operating environment.
| Assessment area | Site information | Engineering decision |
|---|---|---|
| Pipework & connectivity | Outside / nominal diameter, material, branches and closed electrical loops | Model fit, clearance and signal conditions |
| Hydraulic conditions | Flow, circulation path, pump position and available pressure | Installation location and filtration configuration |
| Water & process | Hardness, suspended solids, temperature and existing treatment | Treatment roles and processes to retain |
| Operation & maintenance | Load profile, cleaning history, inspection and discharge access | Comparable baseline and practical service access |
Electronic scale control, particle separation and water-quality compliance are separate responsibilities. A site may need several coordinated processes. Neither scale control nor filtration universally replaces softening, membrane treatment, disinfection or chemical management.
Record equipment, deposits, cleaning intervals and existing water-treatment practice before changes.
Record load, flow, temperature, water quality and any parallel process changes during the observation period.
Compare cleaning records, pressure drop, heat-transfer behaviour or solids collection as appropriate to the application.
Separate measured results, operator observations and financial estimates. Do not assume every change comes from one device.
